DONATION MATCH DAY TO BE HELD MAY 25

Nonprofits and neighbors rally to raise funds to support Marshall County

The Marshall County Community Foundation is proud to announce the next big giving opportunity: Marshall County Match Madness. On Thursday, May 25, a 10% match will be added to contributions made to eligible endowment funds held at the Foundation.

Marshall County Match Madness is a unique opportunity for donors to increase the impact of their gifts with an additional 10%. “You can select your favorite charitable cause or nonprofit to support, perhaps a scholarship that holds a special place in your heart,” said Linda Yoder, Executive Director of the MCCF. “Supporting our Community Funds is a great way to help emerging projects across Marshall County – with 347 endowment funds held at the MCCF, there are many ways to give BIG on May 25!”

MCCF staff and nonprofit representatives will be available in-person from 8:00 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County at 510 W Adams Street, Plymouth, to answer questions and help with the donation process. Individuals may also contribute online at www.marshallcountycf.org starting on May 24 at 11 p.m. to midnight on May 25 – for 25 hours total. New ($5,000 minimum) and existing endowment funds at MCCF are eligible for the 10% match, with up to $50,000 matching dollars total.

“I am constantly thrilled and moved by the generosity of Marshall County residents. This 10% match for donations is an incredible opportunity for our community,” Yoder said. “Let’s discover the possibilities – together!”
