Scholarship Criteria:
The purpose of this fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a Knox High School senior. The applicant must have attended Knox High School for at least two complete years, rank academically in the upper 35% of the graduating class, reside in Washington, California, or Center Townships of Starke County, be of good repute and character, and have some financial need. In selection the quality of the following factors shall be considered: high school academic program, school activities, community activities and services, and part time employment after school or summers. Other factors being equal, preference shall be given to applicants planning to teach in public schools and/or planning to attend a state university or college.
