Investing in the Scholars of Marshall County
Marshall County Community Foundation administers a number of scholarships, from traditional awards for graduating seniors to those geared towards current students, professionals, and other special circumstances.
Each scholarship has its own application guidelines, deadlines, and application process, so please be sure to read the instructions of the scholarship you’re applying for carefully.
LaVille High School Scholarships
We administer a number of scholarships, which range from the traditional academic and athletic awards to corporate and special circumstances offerings.
Applying for a scholarship is free, so we invite you to spend some time finding opportunities for which you are a good fit. You can learn more about each scholarship by clicking on each of the below scholarship titles.
Scholarship applications through the Marshall County Community Foundation will open Monday, December 1, 2025 and will close on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Community Academic Rewards for Excellence
- The purpose of the fund is to provide annual scholarships to LaVille Jr. Sr. High School seniors.
Hoosier Racing Tire Scholarship — LaVille
- The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more scholarships to a United States citizen and graduating senior from LaVille High School (IN) and Plymouth High School (IN).
- Eligible applicants are those pursuing a degree or advanced certification with full-time enrollment at any accredited technical, two-year, or four-year institution within the State of Indiana in one or more of the following programs: Accounting, Automation/Robotics, Business Management, Chemical Engineering, Human Relations, Industrial Engineering, IT, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.80 on a 4-point scale.
- Awards will be merit and financial needs based.
- Eligible students must complete the Hoosier Racing Tire Scholarship Application and submit the application and a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by April 15 to the guidance offices at LaVille High School and Plymouth High School respectively.
John R Manring Memorial Scholarship Fund
- The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to graduates of LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School.
- Recipient must attend a vocational school, trade school, or apprenticeship; this scholarship is not intended to support enrollment in a 4-year program.
- Recipient must have earned at least a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale while in high school.
- Recipient must have been involved in one or more extra-curricular school or community activity for each year of high school.
- One letter of support from a faculty member of LaVille Jr-Sr High School or of North Central Area Vocational Cooperative must accompany the application for the scholarship.
Lancer Legacy Scholarship
- The Lancer Legacy Scholarship is awarded to one or more LaVille High School graduate(s) that are pursuing a 2-year college, 4-year college, or vocational educational opportunities after graduation.
LaPaz Lions Club Scholarship
- The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a graduate of LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School, currently located at 69969 U.S. 31 South Lakeville, Indiana.
- The LaPaz Lions Club scholarship is renewable for one year to previous recipients as long as all other recipient qualifications are met.
Zane and Zoie Triplet Memorial Scholarship Fund
- The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a LaVille High School Senior.
- The applicant shall be active in athletics for four years and in 4-H for five years.
- In addition to the prior two qualifications, the scholarship shall be based on need.
