Marshall County Community Foundation administers a number of scholarships, from traditional awards for graduating seniors to those geared towards current students, professionals, and other special circumstances.

Each scholarship has its own application guidelines, deadlines, and application process, so please be sure to read the instructions of the scholarship you’re applying for carefully.

Plymouth High School Scholarships

We administer a number of scholarships, which range from the traditional academic and athletic awards to corporate and special circumstances offerings. 

Applying for a scholarship is free, so we invite you to spend some time finding opportunities for which you are a good fit. You can learn more about each scholarship by clicking on each of the below scholarship titles. 

Scholarship applications through the Marshall County Community Foundation for Plymouth High School will open Wednesday, December 17, 2025 and will close on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Bruce Huff Memorial Scholarship
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more scholarships to a graduating senior from Plymouth High School. 
  • Applicant must have an interest in pursuing studies in the trades. 
  • One letter of recommendation is required and the scholarship/s will be based on academic, community, and personal merit, and/or financial need.
  • The Bruce Huff Memorial Scholarship is renewable annually to previous recipients.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The scholarship recipient must be a graduating senior involved in speech.
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a graduating senior of Plymouth High School who is a United States citizen and a resident of Indiana and is pursuing a degree or certification from an accredited technical institution, or an accredited two-year or four-year institution.
  • The applicant must be a male or female track and field athlete who has participated a minimum of two years in the men’s or women’s track team, one of which is his or her senior year. 
  • The applicant’s merit and financial need will be considered in the selection process. 
  • Preference may be given to a student with an average GPA and good character.
  • The opportunity for the renewal of this scholarship is available so long as the student maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA, remains in good standing with their accredited educational organization, and is on a continuous path to a higher level of certification or two year or four year degree.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a $500 annual scholarship to a graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana, until such time the fund grows to support one or more scholarships of at least $1000 per recipient. 
  • Scholarship recipients must major in engineering at an accredited four year public or private institution of higher learning.  
  • This scholarship is not renewable to previous recipients.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The recipient shall be enrolling as a first year full time college student at Purdue University in pursuit of a Purdue diploma.
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Marshall County, Indiana.  
  • The applicant must have a class rank in the top 25% of the graduating class and demonstrate participation in school and extracurricular activities.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to graduates of Plymouth High School. 
  • A minimum $750 scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating male student and a graduating female student who are planning to continue their education at a state university or vocational school. 
  • The Crystal M. Metsker Scholarship is not renewable annually to previous recipients.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a Plymouth High School Senior(s). 
  • The applicant(s) must be a graduating senior who is a member of the top 20 of their class, a participant in speech program(s), and/or has achieved academic excellence as determined by the selection committee.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more scholarships annually to a Plymouth High School senior. 
  • The recipient of the scholarship will demonstrate the following values: show a passion for service, unselfishness, and helpfulness on a daily basis, exemplify teamwork on and off the court or field. 
  • The recipient must meet the following minimum requirements:
    • Be a Plymouth High School senior attending an institute of higher learning following high school
    • Be involved with athletics as an athlete or manager (same sport or different sport) every year of high school
    • Have a GPA of a “B” or higher
    • Be a person of good standing
    • Have no violations of the Plymouth High School Athletic Code of Conduct for the student’s entire high school career. 
  • The selection process will take place at the spring PHS coaches meeting. 
  • Any student meeting the selection criteria and minimum requirements will be considered.
  • There is no application process.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The awards shall include but not be limited to the academic record and financial needs of the applicant. 
  • This educational scholarship may be renewed.  
  • The educational scholarship award includes college, specialized, or vocational training.
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more scholarships to a United States citizen and graduating senior from LaVille High School (IN) and Plymouth High School (IN). 
  • Eligible applicants are those pursuing a degree or advanced certification with full time enrollment at any accredited technical, two-year, or four-year institution within the State of Indiana in one or more of the following programs: Accounting, Automation/Robotics, Business Management, Chemical Engineering, Human Relations, Industrial Engineering, IT, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 2.80 on a 4-point scale.
  • Awards will be merit and financial needs based. 
  • Eligible students must complete the Hoosier Racing Tire Scholarship Application and submit the application and a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by April 15 to the guidance offices at LaVille High School and Plymouth High School respectively.
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more scholarships to a graduating senior from Plymouth High School and a resident of Center and West Township in Marshall County, Indiana. 
  • Applicant must have a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. 
  • Applicant must be planning to enroll full-time to pursue higher education or certification at a technical, two-year or four-year institution. 
  • Preference will be given to students with financial need.
  • The James and Josephine Paiano Memorial Scholarship is not renewable annually to previous recipients.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The applicant must be a senior and the most outstanding athlete, male or female, from the Plymouth High School graduating class.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship, that is renewable for four years, to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The scholarship is for either a C average student or students with disability who have worked hard to attain their goal of education to accredited vocational, technical trade schools, or an accredited college/university.  
  • The recipient should have good moral standards, a belief in God, and be part of a low income family.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana, who will study at an accredited college or university. 
  • The scholarship may or may not be given annually, as circumstances dictate.
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide two $150 scholarships to graduates of Plymouth High School, one in the area of business education and one in the area of consumer sciences. 
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a Plymouth High School senior majoring in agriculture. 
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The scholarship recipient must have been active in the named high school’s student government and student activities. 
  • Recipients shall attend an accredited two or four year public or private institution of higher learning located in the State of Indiana.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a graduating senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth Indiana, who is pursuing further education in a business-related field as a full-time student enrolled at any accredited technical institution, two-year institution, or four-year institution, and any accredited post-graduate degree institution.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The awards shall include but not be limited to the academic record and financial needs of the applicant. 
  • This educational scholarship may be renewed.  
  • The educational scholarship award includes college, specialized, or vocational training.
  • The purpose of this scholarship is to provide a non-renewable scholarship to a male student athlete from Plymouth High School.
  • The scholarship must be used toward a vocational or technical school or an accredited college or university.
  • The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and must have earned an athletic varsity letter as either a manager or athlete. Athletic performance is not a determining factor, however, the applicant must show a strong interest in athletics.
  • The application will require the submission of a letter of recommendation from a Plymouth High School teacher or coach outlining the applicant’s qualifications. 
  • Because Mike Mercer was a person that served others, a minimum 200 word essay must be submitted to demonstrate how the applicant served others while attending Plymouth High School and how the applicant plans to continue serving others in the future.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The recipient shall plan to study Family and Consumer Science or Culinary Arts. 
  • The recipient must possess a positive attitude with a compassion for helping others. 
  • All other factors being equal, preference will be given to students who participate in community service activities related to cancer awareness or treatment.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more scholarships to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana who intends to pursue further education in the business field.  
  • The factors to be considered in the granting of this scholarship award shall include, but not be limited to the following: academic record, financial need, extracurricular activities, and higher education goals.
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more scholarships to students enrolled in aviation courses while attending Plymouth High School, and/or graduating seniors from Plymouth High School with an interest in learning to fly or pursuing a career associated with aviation.
  • Preference will be given to a student with financial need. 
  • The Palbykin Aviation Scholarship is renewable annually to previous recipients.
  • The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Plymouth High School graduate attending a trade, vocational, or non-traditional school
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more scholarships to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The factors to be considered in the granting of this scholarship award shall include, but not be limited to the following: Academic record, character, and reputation of the applicant, and extracurricular activities.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to graduates of Plymouth High School, Plymouth Indiana.  
  • The Plymouth Fireman’s Memorial Scholarship is renewable annually to previous recipients as long as all other recipient qualifications are met.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide annual scholarships to students related to a Plymouth-Kilwinning Mason as selected by the Scholarship Advisory Committee. 
  • The Plymouth Masonic Scholarship is renewable annually to previous recipients as long as all other qualifications are met and an annual application for the scholarship is properly submitted for consideration by the Scholarship Advisory Committee.

  • The purpose of this fund is to provide a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to a graduating Plymouth High School student. 
  • The applicant must be a graduate in the top third of their class who will be attending either a college, vocational, or technical school to further their education. 
  • With input from Plymouth High School guidance counselors, preference will be given to students who are receiving fewer scholarship awards than other qualified candidates. 
  • Applicants will be required to submit a short essay or biography about themselves and must demonstrate a history of community service.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a graduating senior of Plymouth High School who is in the top one-third of their class. 
  • The applicant must demonstrate their involvement in volunteer activities. 
  • The Tri Kappa Beta Delta Chapter — Plymouth Tri Kappa Scholarship is not renewable.
  • The purpose of the Ray Price Scholarship fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana, or a home schooled or online student who has successfully achieved high school equivalency and resides in Center or West Township, Marshall County, Indiana.
  • The applicant must plan to be a full time student enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school with an interest in pursuing a higher level of certification or degree in education, ministry, or horticulture. 
  • The applicants must have maintained a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA and shall demonstrate potential for college success by virtue of letters of recommendation.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a Plymouth High School senior.  
  • The applicant must be a graduating senior who has excelled in the sport of high school wrestling.  
  • Recipient to be chosen by criteria as established at the Plymouth High School.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The scholarship is to be awarded as an engineering education scholarship(s) for a graduating senior. 
  •  The scholarship award(s) may be in partial or full payment of tuition, books, and room and board for being enrolled in a fully accredited four-year (4) engineering or engineering technology program at a college and/or university of the recipient’s choice. 
  • The scholarship(s) will be awarded annually and not renewable to individual recipients. 
  • The applicant must provide a certified copy of their SAT with a minimum score of 1000, or ACT with minimum score of 27.  
  • The applicant must have a 10.5 average or above on a 12 point system.  
  • The applicant must have demonstrated leadership skills and an interest in the community through community service.  
  • The applicant must have demonstrated traits of responsibility, integrity, honesty and accountability. 
  • In the event that two or more candidates are equally qualified, financial need may determine which candidate receives the award.  
  • Financial need will be a significant consideration for all applicants.  
  • Only applications from students enrolling as first-year students will be accepted.  
  • The applicant must provide three letters of recommendation: two letters must be from administrators, teachers, or others associated with the high school. The third letter must be from someone outside of school, unrelated to you.
  • Robert P. Pickell touched the lives of countless students during his thirty-eight years of teaching music. His legacy carries on through this scholarship to a student pursuing music education. Through this scholarship, Bob’s joyous and vibrant passion for music continues to live on, from generation to generation, in his beloved Plymouth Schools.
  • Scholarship Criteria:
    • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a Plymouth High School senior residing in Marshall County, Indiana.
    • The applicant must be a graduating senior with a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA), intending to pursue a music and/or theatrical related major or minor from any accredited four-year institution. 
    • Preference may be given to a student planning to attend Ball State University. 
    • The award will be merit based. 
    • Two letters of recommendation may be required in addition to an essay on the student’s goals for the future.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The recipient shall not be chosen from the top ten percent of the graduate’s class.  
  • The recipient shall attend an accredited institution in either the fields of industrial technology or vocational education.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana. 
  • The recipient shall have a high school cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana with no strikes on their high school record.  
  • The scholarship recipient must be a former student at St. Michael Catholic School of Plymouth Indiana with preference given to students who attended the school from kindergarten through eighth grade. 
  • The scholarship recipient must be a graduating senior who is planning to attend an accredited college university, or trade school in the state of Indiana.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana, who has achieved a high school cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. 
  • The recipient must be able to demonstrate a record of community service acceptable to the Scholarship Advisory Committee.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • The recipient must be a Senior who has shown outstanding abilities in speech and drama.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.  
  • This fund will provide a scholarship for a male and a female recipient.  
  • Each scholarship shall be of equal value.  
  • The male recipient must have lettered in one of the following sports: baseball, football and/or wrestling.  
  • The female recipient must have lettered in at least one IHSAA sport while at Plymouth High School.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana, who has participated in art or music.
  • The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a senior of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana. 
  • The scholarship will be awarded at the annual Senior Awards day by Mrs. William (Shemberger) Henry, so long as she is able.
